Web Content Team Leader, NHS Health Scotland

Managed the delivery of health information websites and campaigns, while creating and managing a team of four web editors. Day-to-day duties included project planning (goals, budget, schedule, and scope), oversight of interactive project development, process and resource management, and participation in strategic development of the online brand. Developed, maintained and effectively executed project plans according to established procedures, channels and success expectations.

Also oversaw the review of all content on healthscotland.com, created a new corporate editorial policy, drafted a web style manual and launched several new health information websites.

August 2007 – September 2008

Projects Editor, NHS Health Scotland

Project managed the design and delivery of a high volume of NHS publications, ranging from new campaign material to research reports to health information leaflets. Edited, proof-read and oversaw the commissioning of multiple publications for print.

Also researched, wrote and edited content for fightcervicalcancer.org.uk website, which was shortlisted in the best website category in CIB Scotland awards 2008/9.
